Learn the basics for safer work with the chainsaw to minimize the risk of accidents Level A+B
Learn new and safer methods for using a chainsaw.
The course is aimed at both beginners and experienced loggers.
The course consists of theoretical meetings, practical days in the forest, and a practical test. Local variations may occur in the Sundsvall municipality.
The first weekend will be held at our facilities at Torggatan 4 in Sundsvall on September 12 and 13, with the other days taking place in the forest, including the test on September 19 and 20.
Course content:
Rules, accident risks, and equipment.
Maintenance of the chainsaw and equipment
General sawing techniques
Tree felling, planning, and regulations
Limbs and cutting
Rehearsal before the final test
Final test on September 19 and 20
🌲This is a beginner's course; no prior knowledge is required.
🌲Own equipment is required and must be properly labeled and include: Shoes/boots with saw protection. Protective trousers without damage or with approved repairs. Protective gloves.
High-visibility vest/jacket, approved helmet with ear protection and visor.
