Ibrahim Gaya, Seringne Alpha Dial & Celso Paco invite you to a workshop in Afro dance and drumming.
This energizing workshop provides participants the opportunity to experience the interplay between dance, rhythm, and music. Through movement and live drumming, attendees will discover how music and dance are connected and how rhythm creates community, energy, and creativity.
Participants will get to try various dance steps, learn fundamental rhythms on traditional drums, and experience how dance and drumming interact. The workshop encourages participation, collaboration, and joy in movement, allowing everyone to join regardless of prior experience.
Workshop Content
- Try Afro dance and rhythmic movements.
- Learn basic rhythms on traditional drums.
- Experience the interplay between dance, music, and rhythm.
- Participate in an interactive workshop where everyone gets to dance and play together.

The workshop is part of Create Culture Festival taking place on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
